Nathan currently lives in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia after being raised on the NSW Central Coast. He is currently working out of ‘Fitness Physiotherapy’, a private practice located in a beachside suburb of Newcastle, Merewether. Nathan also works part-time at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) as a Lecturer and Course Co-ordinator for 2 undergraduate Sport Science subjects. Nathan will be commencing a new teaching role in the UTS Post Graduate Physiotherapy faculty later in the year.
Nathan has a vast experience working in rugby league, a few highlights include being the Head Physio for the USA at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.  Prior to joining up with the USA, Nathan worked at the England Rugby League 2017 World Cup Training Camp in Sydney.
In July 2017 Nathan was the Head of Medical Support for the Scotland Students at the Universities World Cup in Sydney.
Nathan has also worked with the North Sydney Bears NSW Cup as Head Physiotherapist and Orange Shirt / Head Trainer. This involved regular attendance at South Sydney Rabbitohs NRL training sessions, and game day duties with their NSW Cup team.
Before being involved in Rugby League Nathan worked with the NSW Country Rugby Union Team (‘Cockatoos’) as Head Physio.
Nathan’s spare time involves hitting the local beaches, playing the guitar and spending time with his wife and 2 dogs. He is a keen cricketer (has played since the age of 10) and is long term member of the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Nathan has proud Scottish ancestry on his Father’s side (great grandparents were from Coatbridge (town between Edinburgh and Glasgow) plus his wife’s parents are also of Scottish descent.
