Scotland Rugby League is looking to grow youth participation through various School Programmes. The aim of the school programme is to develop opportunities for pupils, to take part in the sport of rugby league during the summer semester. SRL are looking to recruit regional coaches within Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee and Angus areas.

Part-time position working around 10 hours per week (potential of hours to increase) during curricular time.

Organise, plan and deliver a variety of coaching sessions for pupils from primary to secondary schools throughout the summer term.

Responsible for engagement and interaction with primary and secondary school pupils to help create a fun and welcoming learning environment.  As a key member of a growing sport, it is essential you have good communication skills and have a strong commitment to develop the overall player.

Experience of working in a Team as well as using your own initiative is essential, as is the ability to relate to pupils from various backgrounds.

Applicants are required to have a Rugby League UKCC Level 1 qualification or be willing to obtain the qualification before the start of the school programme. All training will be provided to the successful applicants. A PVG check and references will also be required.
