Scotland RL extend MatchPoint sponsorship to 2021

Scotland Rugby League are very pleased to announce the renewal of their long term sponsorship agreement with global hospitality business, MatchPoint.

MatchPoint was founded in 1992 and is based in Edinburgh. MatchPoint is a specialist hospitality company which provides sales, marketing and management support for events, governing bodies, rights holders, stadia and venues and is very well known in rugby league circles across the globe having provided hospitality expertise for the likes of State of Origin and the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

Scotland Rugby League Chair, Keith Hogg said:

MatchPoint have sponsored Scotland Rugby League since 2013. The commitment that Neil Cunningham and Vicki Porter have shown to the development of the sport has been and continues to be fantastic. There is a real meeting of values between the 2 organisations and that is always great to see. To work with a sponsor who is as interested in how a new young player gets involved locally in rugby league as they are in how our plans are going for World Cup qualification is fantastic.

Neil Cunningham, Group Managing Director of MatchPoint said:

We have enjoyed working with Scotland Rugby League since 2013.  The sponsorship has been thoroughly enjoyable and very rewarding.   If our funding can help more people play more rugby, more often, then it is a winning result for all.  We really enjoy being able to work with a small organisation like Scotland Rugby League where very committed volunteers are working so hard to develop community sport and to represent Scotland across so many representative levels.
