Scotland Rugby League has today taken the decision to suspend all rugby league in Scotland following the evolving Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation.
In light of government restrictions on public gatherings and the resulting pressure on emergency services and healthcare provision, Scotland Rugby League has decided that with effect from Saturday 14th March there will be a period without training or pre-season matches whilst a further assessment can be made. This will be in effect up to, and including, 5th April 2020.
This will impact all rugby league training, festivals, Development Days and other rugby events, which come under Scotland Rugby League’s jurisdiction. During this suspension period Scotland Rugby League will undertake further assessment and advise on any further action that may be required.
