Saltire Schools Rugby League

The Saltire Schools Rugby League tournament is Scotland Rugby League's flagship schools competition which was established in 2010 / 2011.

Open to every secondary school in Scotland to participate, Saltire Schools doesn't require schools to have any previous rugby league experience.

Rugby League has seen an immense growth in Scotland over the last few years which will support the development of the sport in the future and this competition will play a vital role in introducing the game to an ever increasing number of young people throughout Scotland.

This years tournament saw schools from Aberdeen to Glasgow enter into the regional rounds with Aberdeen Grammar School taking the titles at both the S2/S3 combined and S4/S5 combined age groups.

 

 

How to be part of it?

If your school's S2/S3 and S4/S5 currently play touch rugby or rugby of any form then you are ready to BE PART OF IT!

What to do next? Complete the application form in the Saltire schools Rugby League Brochure and return directly to your regional development officer (details on application form).
