Scotland Rugby League's professional squad have formally been in existance since 1995 and are currently ranked 9th in the RLIF rankings. Scotland finished 2nd in the 2009 European Cup final after a fantastic effort in the first half of the match, they were edged out by a solid 2nd half performance by the Welsh to win the match 28 - 16.

In 2010 the Scots finished 3rd in the Alitalia European Cup after suffering a crushing 22 - 60 defeat at Old Anniesland at the hands of the Welsh. Scotland rallied and improved tremendously but lost out 26 - 12 to France before finishing with a flourish against Ireland with a much needed 42 - 22 win in Tallaght, Dublin.

In 2011 we will be playing France and Ireland in a three sided Test Series with our game against Ireland being at home (Scotstoun Stadium - KO 2pm) on Sunday 16th October and an away game against France on Saturday 29th October in Perpignan
