This weekend saw Glasgow RL take the spoils in the city derby against newcomers, West End Warriors.
Delayed maintenance work at Cambuslang saw the home side forced to move the fixture to GHA, but despite effectively playing on a neutral pitch, the hosts emerged victorious. Having fought back from 0-8 down early on, and having had a man sent to the sin bin to win 40-24. Scotland U18 Shaun Callan helped himself to two tries, as did Ross Moir and former Easterhouse Panther Louis Senter with,  Nick Thorburn and the brothers Thomson, Aaron and Brandon, each crossing once. Lewis Jamieson adding two goals.
For the Warriors, James Griffith took his try tally to 4 to remain top of the charts, with Lachlan Forsyth (2),  Niall Hall and Ciaran Callaghan also touching down. Two Craig Colvin goals completed their scoring.
A last minute try from Bill Seru, converted by Rory Hamilton, gave Edinburgh Eagles their second home win in as many weeks as they defeated Forth Valley Vikings 44-38.
Craig Wishart joined West End Warriors Griffith as top try scorer with a brace, and those pair were matched by Vikings Duncan Arthur who helped himself to four against the Eagles!
Other Edinburgh scorers were George Harrison with two, Orisi Waibuta and George Shannon. Hamilton ever reliable with the boot added six goals.
For the Vikings, tries from Connor Young, Angus Lumsden, Ryan Butterworth and Lee Cairney who also added two goals. Williamson twice and Fraser successful from the tee.
