Management Health and Safety Policy
This Management Health and Safety Policy and Procedures (“the Policy”) provides written policy and procedures for the management of health and safety of Scotland Rugby League.
The Chair and the Board will ensure that all existing employees have been issued with a copy of the Policy. New members of staff are required to read the Policy when they start employment and to confirm such in writing as part of the normal Scotland Rugby League induction procedures.
All members of staff must be familiar with the contents of the Policy. Scotland Rugby League Chair and the Board members are to satisfy themselves that their respective members of staff are aware of the health and safety duties, responsibilities and procedures in the Policy.
Ensure that regular risk assessments are carried out in accordance with the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 section 3.0 (1) ISBN 4667851002 and that these are reviewed immediately if there is a change in law, Scotland Rugby League policy, procedures or significant change in working arrangements.
This document should be read in conjunction with further policy issued from time to time.
