Scotland Club XIII Head Coach Mike Wallace has announced his squad for their clash with the Scotland Students ahead of their departure to the Student World Cup.

Coach Wallace is happy with the make up of his squad;

Following what was a tough trial match the coaching staff and I feel that squad we have chosen is a fair representation of the Origin game plus a few extras who we have been keeping an eye on that couldn’t make the match due to other commitments.

All 4 National League clubs are represented in the squad and there is experience and power across the park including Full International Craig Borthwick, Scotland A Internationals Jarvis, Bryan and Murray and also an element of blooding new players into the sport at this level which is great for the development of the sport.

I think we will give the students a good run out in what will be a physical test for them in their preparation for the Student World Cup.

The match v the Scotland Students will be on Saturday 17th June in Edinburgh, following this fixture the Club XIII will have one more fixture in 2017 against an opposition TBC.
